भारतीय सेना आयुध कोर का इतिहास ब्रिटिश काल से जुड़ा है। इसकी स्थापना 1775 में की गई थी, जब तत्कालीन ईस्ट इंडिया कंपनी ने “Board of Ordnance” का गठन किया। समय के साथ, इसका नाम और स्वरूप बदलता गया, और स्वतंत्रता के बाद इसे भारतीय सेना आयुध कोर नाम दिया गया। यह कोर 8 अप्रैल को अपना स्थापना दिवस मनाता है, जिसे पूरे गर्व और उत्साह के साथ “आयुध दिवस” के रूप में मनाया जाता है।
