एकलव्य मॉडल आवासीय विद्यालय (EMRS) भारत सरकार द्वारा शुरू की गई एक महत्वाकांक्षी योजना है, जिसका उद्देश्य अनुसूचित जनजातियों (Scheduled Tribes – ST) के बच्चों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण स्कूली शिक्षा प्रदान करना है। इस योजना को राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा सोसायटी फॉर ट्राइबल स्टूडेंट्स (NESTS) के अंतर्गत क्रियान्वित किया जाता है, जो जनजातीय कार्य मंत्रालय (Ministry of Tribal Affairs) के अधीन एक स्वायत्त संस्था है।
EMRS योजना की शुरुआत:
EMRS योजना की शुरुआत वर्ष 1997-98 में की गई थी। इसका उद्देश्य दूर-दराज और आदिवासी बहुल क्षेत्रों में आदिवासी विद्यार्थियों को पूरी तरह आवासीय और गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षा देना है, ताकि वे भी देश की मुख्यधारा में आ सकें और सामाजिक-आर्थिक रूप से सशक्त बन सकें।
EMRS विद्यालयों की विशेषताएं:
- निःशुल्क शिक्षा – इन विद्यालयों में कक्षा 6 से 12 तक छात्रों को निःशुल्क शिक्षा दी जाती है।
- आवासीय सुविधा – सभी छात्र-छात्राओं के लिए हॉस्टल की सुविधा उपलब्ध होती है।
- गुणवत्तापूर्ण शिक्षक – शिक्षक केंद्रीय या राज्य स्तर पर चयनित होते हैं, जिससे उच्च स्तरीय शिक्षा सुनिश्चित की जा सके।
- खेलकूद और सह-पाठ्यक्रम – छात्रों को शैक्षणिक के साथ-साथ खेलकूद, सांस्कृतिक गतिविधियों और अन्य सह-पाठ्यक्रम में भाग लेने के अवसर भी मिलते हैं।
- तकनीकी संसाधन – विद्यालयों में स्मार्ट क्लास, विज्ञान प्रयोगशालाएं, पुस्तकालय और कंप्यूटर लैब जैसी आधुनिक सुविधाएं उपलब्ध कराई जा रही हैं।
NESTS की भूमिका:
NESTS (National Education Society for Tribal Students) की स्थापना 2019 में की गई थी। यह संस्था EMRS योजना के संचालन, निगरानी और मूल्यांकन की जिम्मेदारी निभाती है। NESTS का उद्देश्य यह सुनिश्चित करना है कि देशभर के आदिवासी छात्र समान शैक्षणिक अवसरों का लाभ उठा सकें।
EMRS में प्रवेश प्रक्रिया:
EMRS में प्रवेश एक प्रवेश परीक्षा (EMRS Entrance Test) के माध्यम से होता है, जिसे NESTS आयोजित करता है। यह परीक्षा कक्षा 6 में प्रवेश के लिए होती है, और कुछ विद्यालयों में कक्षा 9 और 11 के लिए भी प्रवेश होता है। परीक्षा में पास होने वाले छात्रों को पूरी तरह आवासीय और निःशुल्क शिक्षा दी जाती है।
वर्तमान स्थिति और भविष्य की योजना:
भारत सरकार ने 2025 तक देशभर में 740 से अधिक EMRS स्कूल स्थापित करने का लक्ष्य रखा है। इनमें से कई विद्यालय पहले ही कार्यरत हैं और कई निर्माणाधीन हैं। इन स्कूलों के माध्यम से लाखों आदिवासी बच्चों को शिक्षा की मुख्यधारा से जोड़ा जा रहा है।
अभी इस विभाग में भर्ती के 7267 पदों की भर्ती निकली है जो 19 सितम्बर 2025 से 23 अक्टूबर 2025 तक उसके आवेदन करना होगा। इस भर्ती में न्यूनतम 18 साल और अधिकतम 50 साल की उम्र मांगी गई है। इस भर्ती में आवेदक की फीस 2500/- , 2000/- ,1500/- रूपये मात्र है जो कि समान्य , अन्य पिछणा वर्ग के लिए लागू है और एस.सी./ एस.टी. फीस 500/- रूपये मात्र है तथा पीडब्लूकडी ओर महिला आवेदक के परीक्षा फॉर्म का शुल्क 500/- रूपये मात्र है। जो इन्टरनेट बैंकीग , यूपीआई, क्रेडिट कार्ड या डेबिट कार्ड के माध्यम से शुल्क जामा कर सकते है।
इस भर्ती मे न्यूनतम एजुकेशन सरकार कि किसी मान्यता प्राप्त स्कूल से न्यूनतम B.Ed. / M.Ed. कक्षा पास कर लेनी चहिए। अभ्यर्थियों को पूरा कर लेना चाहिए और उनके पास उत्तीर्ण प्रमाणपत्र होना चाहिए।
