भारत के सर्वोच्च न्यायालय की स्थापना 28 जनवरी 1950 को हुई थी, जब देश का संविधान लागू हुआ था। इससे पहले, ब्रिटिश शासन के दौरान फेडरल कोर्ट ऑफ़ इंडिया और प्रिवी काउंसिल देश के न्यायिक प्रणाली का सर्वोच्च स्तर था। संविधान लागू होने के बाद, सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इन संस्थाओं की जगह ली और इसे देश का सबसे उच्च न्यायालय बना दिया गया।
अभी इस विभाग में Law Clerk Cum Research Associates भर्ती के 90 पदों की भर्ती निकली है जो 14 जनवरी 2025 से 07 फ़रवरी 2025 तक उसके आवेदन करना होगा। इस भर्ती में न्यूनतम 18 साल और अधिकतम 45 साल की उम्र मांगी गई है। इस भर्ती में आवेदक की फीस 500/- रूपये मात्र है जो कि समान्य , अन्य पिछणा वर्ग के लिए लागू है और एस.सी./ एस.टी. फीस 500/- रूपये मात्र है तथा पीडब्लूकडी आवेदक के परीक्षा फॉर्म का शुल्क 500/ रूपये मात्र है। जो इन्टरनेट बैंकीग , यूपीआई, क्रेडिट कार्ड या डेबिट कार्ड के माध्यम से शुल्क जामा कर सकते है।
इस भर्ती मे न्यूनतम एजुकेशन सरकार कि किसी मान्यता प्राप्त स्कूल से न्यूनतम Degree in Law परीक्षा पास कर लेनी चहिए। अभ्यर्थियों के पास उत्तीर्ण प्रमाणपत्र होना चाहिए।
