परिचय:
राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र परिवहन निगम (एनसीआरटीसी) एक संयुक्त उद्यम कंपनी है जिसे भारत सरकार और दिल्ली, हरियाणा, राजस्थान और उत्तर प्रदेश की राज्य सरकारों के बीच साझेदारी के तहत स्थापित किया गया है। इसका उद्देश्य राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र (एनसीआर) और उससे जुड़े क्षेत्रों के बीच एक उच्च गति क्षेत्रीय रेल परिवहन प्रणाली को विकसित करना और संचालित करना है। यह परियोजना विशेष रूप से उन यात्रियों के लिए है जो प्रतिदिन दिल्ली और उसके आस-पास के क्षेत्रों के बीच यात्रा करते हैं। एनसीआरटीसी की स्थापना 2013 में की गई थी और यह शहरी विकास मंत्रालय के अंतर्गत कार्य करती है।
उद्देश्य:
एनसीआरटीसी का मुख्य उद्देश्य एनसीआर और आस-पास के क्षेत्रों में सुरक्षित, तेज़, कुशल और पर्यावरण के अनुकूल परिवहन प्रणाली प्रदान करना है। यह परियोजना यातायात के बढ़ते दबाव को कम करने, प्रदूषण में कमी लाने और आवागमन के समय को कम करने में मदद करती है। यह दिल्ली और आस-पास के प्रमुख शहरों के बीच एक समग्र और निर्बाध कनेक्टिविटी स्थापित करने का प्रयास है।
